The purpose of Wikifactum’s site is to provide a platform to challenge and cast doubt on the reputations of the victim’s detractors for any injustice perpetrated against them by federal investigators, prosecutors, judges, defense lawyers and whistle-blowers.
Any individual who claims to be a victim of an injustice and wishes to set the record straight can lease a Cloud vault on Wikifactum’s site. Then, with the assistance of impartial investigators – our Ombudsperson – they will review and provide feedback on the alleged facts of each case submitted.
It is up to our Ombudsperson to determine whether the individual is truly a victim of injustice. Any person approved on Wikifactum’s site as a lessee is considered an innocent victim or marked by other circumstances and deserving of representation.
Wikifactum’s impartial and confidential vaulting service is considered an encrypted charter-hosting site where the lessee can prepare their innocence project factum without any salacious media or adversarial challenges to the development of their case. What will give the innocent individual mounting strength is the thought of eventually seeing retribution and mayhem for their detractors, and they can start by signing up as a vault lessee with Wikifactum. Their engagement will allow them to put negative thoughts aside and use their time wisely to prepare for their innocence project.
While the perpetrators of injustice have done their best to break the spirit of the unjustly convicted person, we believe that victims must remain strong and stoic in the face of adversity. After everything that has happened, they can and will survive.
Lessees should consider that their Wikifactum vault may serve as their substantive public court of appeal, and accordingly, it may be a venue, for convincing friends of the court or pro-bono lawyers to take up worthwhile cases.
Once a lessee decides to join Wikifactum, it goes without saying that they must protect their privileged and confidential factum information. Therefore, information must be submitted to Wikifactum in accordance with the site’s many guidelines, just a few of which are listed below:
- Wikifactum has designed individual encrypted cloud based hosting vaults dedicated to each lessee’s The vault remains locked and will only be opened by the lessee or their gatekeeper’s password for review of their factum by the Ombudsperson, or unless the memoranda are destroyed by Wikifactum upon cancellation and removal of the vault.
- The lessee will likely be incarcerated while preparing their innocence factum; therefore, confidential information must be forwarded from their facility in accordance with Federal Bureau of Prisons regulations. FBP’s policies and procedures must be followed with respect to legal mail forwarded to Wikifactum via the lessee’s
- The lessee will prepare an initial opening statement or factum for filing in their vault. This is followed by sub-folders where relevant tabbed documentation is filed, and notations are created for each file in a corresponding chronicle.
- When the lessee is satisfied with the contents of their vault and has agreed to open it for a confidential review of their factum and its contents, the Ombudsperson will scrutinize the lessee’s claim of innocence and their description of how the conduct of investigators, prosecutors, defense attorneys, or judges prejudiced their fair trial. The Ombudsperson will offer a confirming opinion regarding the contents, reject the claim, or advise the lessee on how the vault’s factum content may be improved.
- Following the Ombudsperson’s approval or favorable final review, the lessee, now an approved victim, may permit public review of the vault’s contents. Every reviewing member of the public is invited to complete a questionnaire to offer their opinion, based on the Ombudsperson’s report and the lessee’s factum chronicle, as to the lessee’s guilt or innocence. Respectful and mindful comments are allowed about the wrongdoing of the investigators, prosecutors, defense attorney, or presiding judge which occasioned a conviction following an unfair trial.
- Applicants wishing to lease a vault will contractually acknowledge the duty of the lessee to respect the serious intention the site affords for those who profess their innocence following conviction due to a prejudicial trial. There cannot be unsubstantiated claims published on the site, nor abusive language or threats of any kind.
- When in the Ombudsperson’s opinion, the lessee’s factum is not tenable for continuing participation, Wikifactum reserves the exclusive right to cancel the current year’s hosting immediately. Any remaining proration of the annual fee will be returned to the lessee.
After six months of creative work, the author realized that a greater role could be expected from the site by granting other individuals the opportunity to identify persons in authority responsible for their conviction at an unfair trial and contribute to that individual’s archive about their character, ethics or any similar events experienced by other victims.
